Roughly 85% of my wardrobe is flannel plaid shirts. Did I set out to look like a lumberjack? Of course not. But I think deep down my yearning for Autumn finds a way to express itself. I dream of cool mornings, pumpkin spiced coffee and a roaring fire pit on the weekends. Have you ever roasted the perfect marshmallow to a golden brown and then squished it between some graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate – and thought to yourself: This is it. This is the Promised Land.
Fall is the best season. And it is not just because of s’mores and firewood and well-worn hoodies – it’s because this season is tempered by thankfulness. We’ll all celebrate Thanksgiving in just a couple of months – but at LifeSongs Radio, we find ourselves overwhelmed with thanksgiving here and now because of your incredible and generous support!
