I frequently have ups and downs in my emotional state, but really for the past 4 years the downs have outweighed the ups. I have struggled spiritually during this time starting with when I left ministry due to personal sin. I just don't know how long I can fake joy in front of my family any more. I am scared for them and the future employment for me. So much is going on even though my wife and I both have good jobs and have not went without a paycheck during this time expenses have risen don't know if we will survive this period we are paycheck to paycheck right now 1 emergency could ruin us and we would lose everything can't afford to go to counseling besides it takes several months to get an appointment just so much going on. Need prayers for restoration of my faith in God.

Please pray for my beautiful children, 18 & 20 yrs old. Things can seem so life or death at this age. Emotions are running rampant. I pray, Lord Jesus, that your loving arms will surround them throughout the steps and phases of their lives. I pray the Holy Spirit guide them along the way. My son Aaron suffered an injury on 11/7, he is an all star athlete and during a football game he tore his ACL ending his high school sports as he is a senior. He had successful surgery on 11/25 however has lost al desire for continuing sports. He is depressed and I just ask for prayer to lift him up and help re-light the fire that burned within him.

Spending 10 years with the Turgeon family in Lafitte, Louisiana, I worked hard taking care of the house including changing diapers for the 4 children. The daughter Leah Jean was honored to officially have me as her godfather. She was a baby then, now she is a mother herself. Time moves fast. I ask prayers for her and the rest of the Turgeon menagerie. They will always have a place in my heart.

I am praying for a new advanced career opportunity which will enable me to use my advanced degree while doing what I love. I enjoy my profession, but I have been like a butterfly stuck inside of a cocoon. It is really painful. Thankful, grateful, but capable of so much more, and waiting for a door to open which would allow me to spread my wings. Please pray, there's so much I want to accomplish, but it does not happen in my current job title. I know God did not take me this far in my career path to leave me here. I know he will finish the good work that he began.

I married my husband almost 7 years ago, a widower with 5 children. At the time we were married, the oldest 3 children were themselves married, and the twins were almost 14. The oldest daughter never wanted their dad to marry me; she cried when we told her we were engaged. Now it is to the point where she doesn’t talk talk to my husband and she refuses for us to visit her family (including grandsons ages 5 and 3). Please pray that God would break her heart, so that she would accept me as her father’s wife, in the midst of her pain of losing her mother 13 years ago. I see the pain of the situation in my husband every day. This oldest daughter has a lot of influence over the female twin, who lives with us and is 21. So our home isn’t at peace either. Thanks for praying friends.
