Alex is a 21-year-old recent college graduate who achieved summa cum laude honors in mechanical engineering in May 2024. His academic brilliance earned him a full-ride PhD to study supersonic fluid dynamics. But Alex is more than just a scholar; he is an Eagle Scout, a passionate runner, a talented musician, an avid rock climber, a dedicated teacher, and a devoted servant-leader to those around him.
Alex's ultimate passion has always been to empathize with and provide services to the people he loves. Tragically, on July 3rd, Alex was involved in a severe accident that resulted in major head trauma. He required resuscitation and was transported by ambulance to the University of Kentucky, a Level 1 trauma center, due to stormy weather preventing an airlift. Alex will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future.
As of July 10: Unfortunately, Alex is suffering from ventilator induced pneumonia. He is still unresponsive.

Prayer for suicidal ideations. I'm tired of life and no longer want to go on. I'm only still here cause of my children. Which I think they would be better off without me. I can't pay my bills, fighting for disability with the little job I have. I have no more hope of a future. Everyone will be better off without me and I'm all alone. I want to start by saying I know there is power in prayer. God has brought us through many things. I know He is going to get us through this very difficult time right now. I am so thankful for LifeSongs. I am always hearing a word or song that really minsters to me. I am proud to be a supporter of such a wonderful radio station. I can't wait to give our testimony. I am asking prayer for my youngest son Jacob. We found out recently he has cancer. He is only 23. I know God has an awesome plan for his life. He even said mom I can't wait to give my testimony. I am so proud of him. He is so strong and positive. He is so full of faith. He rededicated his life this past year. It is really hard knowing your own flesh and blood has to go through this, you know. I just keep wanting to wake up from this awful nightmare.
My 2nd prayer request is for my husband. He is 70 and having some health challenges. God literally took him from the verge of death 11 years ago. I know he will get through this. His name is Eldon. He has to have some tests on his heart June 20.
