Picture this: you’re working on your laptop, watching your favorite show, AND catching up on social media (yes, multitasking is my superpower). Suddenly… everything freezes. The little loading icon spins and spins, and then the dreaded message pops up: “No Internet Connection.” Cue the instant panic. Is it the Wi-Fi? The router? Should you call your internet provider, or just move to the woods and live off the grid? Either way, it’s time to troubleshoot.
What’s the first thing you check? The Wi-Fi signal. If your device isn’t connected, nothing works the way it’s supposed to. The same apps, websites, and tools that ran perfectly a few moments ago are now useless. It’s frustrating, but also a great reminder of just how much we depend on a strong connection.
In John 15:5, Jesus uses a similar analogy. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” In other words, staying connected to Him isn’t optional—it’s essential. Without Him, we lose the ability to thrive, grow, and live the life He’s called us to.
Think about it: a branch can’t produce fruit if it’s cut off from the vine. A phone can’t function without its battery. And yes, our favorite gadgets are basically paperweights without Wi-Fi. Staying connected is the key to everything working the way it’s meant to.
The same is true for us and Jesus. When we’re connected to Him, we find strength, joy, peace, and purpose. It’s not about striving or trying harder; it’s about letting His life flow through us, just like a strong Wi-Fi signal powers everything we need.

He’s always there, ready to restore the signal and help you thrive. You were made to bear fruit, not to sit there watching the little loading icon spin.
