If you’re a fan of Jesus Culture, chances are you may already know the song “Miracles.” After a painful season of heartache, Alisa Turner decided to record a version of it to share hope. She walked through losing her father, her son, and battling Lyme disease. Her hope in sharing this song? That when you hear it, regardless of your circumstances (and whether or not you can see it), you’ll know that God is still working. He is still GOOD, and He will see you through.
Comparison is the thief of joy. Ever spend time on social media, scrolling through photos and comparing yourself or your stuff or your life to them? We all fall into that trap at times. But when we look at what other people have or do, and compare ourselves to that, we lose. We need to remind ourselves of what God has done, and give thanks in ALL things. He is GOOD, and we can see that more clearly when we start “Counting Every Blessing.” Check out what Rend Collective has to say about their new song:
And, speaking of JOY… James 1:2-3 says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.”
Not that easy, right? But, Paul said we can consider it pure joy when we face trials of various kinds because we know that the testing of our faith produces perseverance. You may be up against trials in life, in business, in ministry, personally, etc. Let this song remind you of the grace and mercy of God…that it’s possible to choose JOY in the midst of all of these things! (This anthem from for King & Country will undoubtedly help!)
