Forgiveness. It’s not an easy thing. But a lot of people walk around with a heaviness and bitterness that is unnecessary. Forgiveness, and the freedom that comes with it, is what Needtobreathe’s song “When You Forgive Someone” is all about. Bear Rinehart says, “Forgiveness may not be a quick thing; it’s a painful thing, and a lot of times it’s a process, but I really hope this song encourages you, and that, the sooner you can let it go and give it to God, the sooner that freedom comes.”

None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes, we all stumble at times. But Seph Schlueter’s song “Running Back To You” reminds us that God’s arms are always open, even when we make mistakes. Seph says, “There’s joy in turning around, joy in repentance and coming back to the Father.”

Brandon Lake is taking it old school – like Old Testament – in his song “That’s Who I Praise.” He shares, “What is encouraging to me is that while these ‘heroes’ of the faith demonstrated amazing postures of faith, they weren’t perfect. And so, it encourages me to know even in my insecurity and weakness, I might not feel like I have much to offer God, He’s still worthy of my praise.”
